Mansfield and other Richland County communities are ready to celebrate the arrival of 2017 in several venues. Those include the following:
The 3rd annual Blue Year’s Eve at the Phoenix Brewing Company (131 N. Diamond St. in downtown Mansfield) features PBC beer towers with Danger City over cocoa nibs and cherries and Redemption IPA over mango and pineapple. Smokin Bros BBQ from Mansfield will be there from 5:00 PM until midnight. Ohio State vs Clemson starts at 7:00 PM with live music from the Fat Daddy’s Blues Band immediately following the game. Midnight Kiss Kits (champagne, glasses, PBC chapstick, mints and New Year’s favors for 2) for $10!
Snow Trails (3100 Possum Run Road, Mansfield) has a New Year’s Eve party on Saturday night. At 9:00 PM, the Red Ball Jets will perform in the Snowflake Lounge. Tickets are $20. The Last Run Pizza will also be making pizzas to order from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM.This event can sellout before-hand, so a call ahead is advisable (419.774.9818).
Bellville’s Wishmaker House (116 Main St.) will have live music on Saturday featuring CJ Knight. Hours are 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM.
Enjoy a New Year’s Eve party at Buck’s Bar & Grill (192 East Main, Lexington) on Saturday from 9:00 PM to 1:00 AM. Upstairs in the APEX Room, this event will have music from Mark King and the Roadhouse Band, featuring Dave King. The $10 ticket includes a glass of champagne.
Mansfield Liederkranz (1212 Silver Lane, Mansfield) will host a New Year’s Eve party featuring the music of Ohio Express. The doors open this Satruday at 7:30 PM, and music will start at 8:00 PM and continue past midnight. Tickets are $20 for singles and $35 for couples (nonmembers), and $15 for singles and $25 for couples (members). The ticket covers admission, Spumante at midnight, and party favors; food will also be available for purchase. A portion of each ticket sold will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Richland County.
