Today, the Mansfield Area Y made a big splash. Well, more precisely, they announced they will be making a big splash very soon.
At a press conference, the Y released information regarding its 150th birthday in Richland County. CEO Cristen Gilbert unveiled exciting new projects and investment plans. Included among those plans are a new parking lot, gymnasium floor and acoustic improvements, livestrong program investment, and a brand new community splash pad set for a summer 2018 opening.
The event kicked off the Y’s Annual Campaign, which will help fund these projects.
