With the recent performance of the Christmas Oratorio of composer Camille Saint-Saens, the Mansfield St. Peter’s Music Series will continue next year with an emphasis on presenting works done by in-house ensembles, both with the parish and with the schools.

Those performances include the following:s School will host their annual Catholic Schools Week Concert in the High School Auditorium. This concert features the musical and performance talents of our students and staff.  This perennial favorite will delight and inspire you as our St. Peter’s School family brings its considerable talents to bear.  Admission is free and open to the public.

Sunday, February 26, 2017, at 3 p.m. – St. Peter’s Annual Choir Program will feature the choir and musicians of St. Peter’s in a performance of Deutsches Requiem (The German Requiem) by Johannes Brahms. The marvelous acoustic setting of St. Peter’s Church will provide an ideal backdrop for this gem of the choral repertoire. Tickets for this performance are $15 for adults and $10 for seniors and students. Admission for St. Peter’s students is free with their Student ID.

March 31, April 1 & 2 and April 7-9, 2016 – St. Peter’s Department of Theater and Performing Arts and the St. Peter’s Music Series present Seussical, The Musical. This annual collaboration between the talented parishioners, students, and staff of St. Peter’s Parish & School has become a favorite of the Mansfield area. Performance times and ticket information will be made available in early 2017.

Saturday, May 13, 2017, at 8 p.m. – Messiah by George Friedrich Handel will be presented by the Choir of St. Peter’s in collaboration with other area musical groups and soloists under the direction of Maestro Thomas Hong in a return to Mansfield for this everlasting favorite. Tickets for this performance are $15 for adults and $10 for seniors and students. Admission for St. Peter’s students is free with their Student ID.
