Today marks the beginning of the 2017 edition of the Richland County Fair. This year’s Fair runs through August 12; rides open on Monday, August 7.

The first Richland County Fair took place on October 26, 1849, just the one day, and took place at what is now the intersection of South Main and Lexington Avenue.

Rather than provide duplicate coverage of what awaits fairgoers, we have the following compendium of links to stories and websites from the Mansfield News Journal, Richland Source, the Richland Soil and Water Conservation District, and the Richland County Fair itself.

We will be updating this page with social media posts from the Fair and re-sharing it later in the week. In the meantime, we’ll see you there — it’s a great way to spend a summer day.

Send us your news — of an announcement, event,
club news, fundraiser – whatever! It’s easy to do online.
