Richland Moves has announced a new initiative, called “Slow Roll Mansfield.”

Slow Roll Mansfield is an effort to build community through cycling. It takes the form of a ride in the evening through the city, and amongst friends and fellow community members. The rides are slow and fun, and everyone is invited to join in.

Rides start at 7:30 PM and will be about three to six miles in length. The starting point will be at the bike racks in the municipal parking lot, across from Richland Carrousel Park.

The ride will change as the season progresses.

More details can be obtained on the new Slow Roll Mansfield Facebook page, which can be accessed here. You can also direct message the organizers on that page to volunteer to assist.

Send us your news — of an announcement, event,
