Pleasant Hill Lake Park near Perrysville is offering the opportunity for you and yours to try something new.
Kayak Try-It Days is a chance to try out a variety of different Pelican Brand kayaks. Double, single, sit-on, and sit-in style kayaks will be available for anyone to try.
Children under 18 must have an adult present, and parents must sign a waiver form.
There are a limited number of kayaks and equipment, as well as limited time, so everything will be allotted based on demand and numbers. Each participant will receive a brief safety orientation and be sized with a life jacket, paddle, and kayak for his or her size, weight, and use.
The fun takes place on Saturday, August 25 from 1 PM to 4 PM. The program is free, however general gate admission applies of $5 for a daily car pass.
