Trai’Shaun Beard will be the speaker for the upcoming AALI Speaks event on Monday, August 12 from 12 to 1:30 PM.

Ms. Beard is an entrepreneur who was born and raised in Mansfield. She left her hometown for a few years to go to school and travel. As she spent those years traveling, she was not sure where her entrepreneurship journey would lead. She is now a cosmetologist, business coach, and CEO of Akua Hair Clinic and iSlay Beauty Co.

With her extensive background in business and her experience in owning her own company, Ms. Beard will talk about her journey of discovering her passion of helping people feel beautiful on the inside and the outside, and turning this into the successful business that it is today.

She will also share the lessons she has learned about starting a business, the ‘why’ that makes a person launch a business, choosing which type to start, and taking action in order to make these dreams come true.

AALI Speaks is all about highlighting successful African American leaders like Trai’Shaun Beard, so make sure to join us on August 12 to hear her about inspiring journey. The event will be at NECIC, 134 N Main St, Mansfield 44902.

Tickets are required and can be purchased for $10 at https://conta.cc/2JU7Vgo, though the event is free for AALI members. Seats are limited, so get your tickets quickly!
