At its November 15 meeting, Mansfield City Council is scheduled to consider several items relating to finances and to employment matters.

Under review will be the following:

  • An ordinance making temporary annual appropriations for expenses for the year beginning January 1, 2017. This is done to provide for figures which, in turn, will be incorporated into the overall Appropriations Ordinance which must be adopted by April 1.
  • An ordinance address changes to the Fair Labor Standards Act regulations and upgrading some positions within the AFSCME bargaining unit.
  • Other miscellaneous matters involving payments and a $1,500 appropriation measure.

Also on the agenda is a proposed ordinance to change elements of parking enforcement for unpaid or defaulted violations.
