The Renaissance Theatre will show the first of three films in its Cinema Series, “Clue,” on August 11 at 3:00 PM. The movie is part of the Spherion Staffing Cinema Series.

Clue is the hilarious movie, based on the popular board game, about seven dinner guests, a butler, and a maid, who are all involved in a series of murders. The setting is at Hill House, where you learn that each guest is connected to each other in extraordinary ways. Blackmailer, Mr. Boddy, unexpectedly shows up, gives each guest a weapon, and tells them to kill the butler to avoid being exposed. What ensues in this screwball comedy is a tangled web of murder, lies, and all-out laughter.

The remaining films in the series include The Princess Bride on February 16 and Singin’ in the Rain on April 5.

Tickets are $5 and can be purchased in advance at the Renaissance Box Office, at the door, via phone at (419) 522-2726 and online at RenTickets.org.
