Malabar Farm State Park and the Mansfield/Richland County Public Library have announced the list of books to be read this summer at the Bromfield Book Club.

Taking place at 6 PM on the first Monday of each month at Malabar Farm, each month the Club reads one of Bromfield’s novels or books about the author. Each session includes discussions of that month’s book, guest speakers, and tours of the estate and park grounds (including snacks and light refreshments).

This club is designed for enthusiasts of Bromfield’s books, but also for those who haven’t read his work before.

If you’re interested in Bromfield, farming, conservation, or local history, you’ll be amazed by what you learn in the club. The discussions will be held in different rooms of the “Big House,” at the Visitor Center, the Pugh Cabin, and other areas of the estate.

Get an intimate peek into the life of our most famous Mansfield resident. Contact Butler Branch Library at 419.883.2220, or the Lucas Branch Library at 419.892.2576 for more information and registration. Space is limited – sign up soon!
