It has been said that books are like bricks in building an education; the more you read, the taller the structure becomes.

In Mansfield, avid readers can enjoy both at the same time through the Mansfield/Richland County Public Library’s Brickyard Books program.
Each third Tuesday of the month, the discussion about books goes from the downtown Library to the very brick-filled streets outside. There, you can share your love of books and their power to transform and reach.

Each month, books are selected by the group. The selection can then be found on the MRCPL’s online Event Calendar, or at the Library itself. The fun then happens at 6 PM in Relax, It’s Just Coffee on North Main Street, not far from the Brickyard.

The next meeting is this Tuesday, March 19, when the book being discussed will be Unsheltered by Barbara Kingsolver.

Send us your news — of an announcement, event,
