A new Close To Home Center for Columbus’ Nationwide Children’s Hospital will bring developmental occupational and physical therapy services, as well as speech pathology services, much closer to home.
The new Center is now open at 2003 West Fourth Street, Suite 205. It is the second Nationwide Children’s office presence in the county (our October 2016 notice about the first center can be read here).
“Richland County is not new to Nationwide Children’s, as we have an existing Close To Home Center in Mansfield,” said Patty McClimon, senior vice president of planning and facilities at Nationwide Children’s. “These services, however, are new for us in this area, and we are happy to provide pediatric expertise to families within their own community.”
In addition, Nationwide Children’s and Lexington Local Schools have partnered to support the health and well-being of children in the Lexington school district by providing occupational and speech therapy services to students.
“Our specialists are committed to supporting the health care needs of children and their families in this community,” said Marrie. “We are thrilled to be able to bring these therapies closer to home for our patients who have been traveling to Columbus to access our services.”
