It’s a shop with a bit of that, and a bit of this – all of it unique and wonderful.
And it’s the newest retail enterprise in downtown Mansfield.
1812Blockhouse paid a visit on Saturday to the brand-new Lucah Designs, which held its Grand Opening that day on the south side of the Square. What we saw quickly inspired us to return.
Selling fine antiques, local art, and unique gifts, it describes itself as “…a mashup of a little off with a little new. And year, a little quirk & weirdness in the mix.” The store had previous lives in various antiques store settings, but it is now a part of the downtown Mansfield retail mix.
Lucah Designs is easy to locate at 26 South Park Street in the historic May Building, which was individually placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986..
